Maybe? I don't know it depends on if the game is finished. If most of the features they want to put in are actually finished and the game runs well it'll be a really solid 8+ game however we'll see if that happens or not.

those early releases on steam... they can go on for years without full release

Exactly why it is probably best to just check in on if we are still playing it 6 months down the line

^ yeah, bad situation there ! how can they allow this to happen > lazy or just don't care about finishing the job properly?

usually those are independent studios that tend to crowdsource features for the game from the active community....

it has its drawbacks, but if the team is active, those games tend to be so much better than a lot of triple A titles
