Set aside all the wrong doings of Ubisoft this year, they have announced wonderful news yesterday. Ubisoft has been working on creating an HD edition of one of the games in an amazing saga – Heroes III. Ubisoft points HD Edition is being released during its 15th anniversary of Restoration of Erathia, and 20th anniversary for the entire Heroes saga. The newly remade game will be available for PC with vast Steamworks support that will feature easy multiplayer game setups and a version for mobile devices for both Android and iOS. Though they claim it is only for tablets, there is no real way of blocking the application to run on an Android phones.

At that time we asked New World Computing to retrieve their archives for all the Might & Magic titles. We found tons of documentation and data but regarding Heroes III we had nothing but the usable source code of Heroes III Restoration of Erathia.
