The Evolve Big Alpha launch was to be on 10/30 for PS4 and XboxOne, while the PC version would start today. As expected, the Alpha launch has ran into some issues. The PS4 version has had a clash with the PS4 2.00 firmware update, and PlayStation and 2K are working together on a resolution.
The Xbox One version is up and running, with matchmaking problems. The fix seems to be “Spinning red circle for more than 3 min? B twice, press A to Play, A again to find Hunt.”
The PC release is having matchmaking problems as well. I was in a lobby for more than 1 hour, never finding a match. We tried 1,2,3 and 4 players, which didn’t help. According to Turtlerock Studios’ MacMan:
“We are testing a fix right now internally. If it works it’ll be tested by the full QA team and if approved, will be deployed.
I don’t know how long that’ll take, but everyone is pushing to get it through as quickly as possible.
We knew we would see stuff like this in the Big Alpha, and being able to hotfix problems is one of the challenges that the team faces. It’s go time!
Hang in there! We will get it sorted.”

EDIT: New PC patch out now.
