News: Quakelive Launches on Steam Today

Quake live, the f2p shooter from id that used to be a web based game, is releasing on steam today. A few changes to the game besides having its own native client is that in the past the payment tiers were different for how much money you gave. Now the tiers are just free and pro which allows you full access to everything the game has if you pay for pro. Since Quake Live is just a modified version of Quake 3 the requirements are fairly simple including a 2 ghz processor  (no multi-core) and a minimum Geforce 4 MX which is a video card I have not seen in years, I originally got my MX440 for Battlefield 1942.
