Google has revealed their new lineup, the Android One platform. These phones are designed specifically for developing countries so those that do not make much can at least enjoy the comforts and life improving benefits a smartphone provides. These phones will start off in India and will have a 4.5 inch screen, 1 GB of ram, 5 megapixel camera, 1.3 quad core processor and microSD expandable storage. They are also releasing a new version of Youtube that will allow users to download videos that they like and store them so that when they want to replay them they won’t have to incur higher data charges. The devices will run close to stock android with no manufacturer bloatware installed on it. These phones are going to start out at 6339 rupees ($105) and will spread later into the Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal before the end of 2014.
