Two things are for certain: Dragon Age Origins was a great game. Critically acclaimed by players and media alike, it was an open world rpg masterpiece. Also true, Dragon Age 2 was a huge disappointment to fans who expected more of the same with improvements. We were handed repetitive combat, reused maps, and generally dull and boring gameplay in general. Is there hope for Dragon Age: Inquisition? Short answer: yes. The newest trailer shows the game is back to its roots, with combat start pause based options that matter, and tactics galore. Also a huge, huge open world game map. It looks fantastic, and with this trailer it looks like Bioware genuinely cared about fans critique of Dragon Age 2. Inquisition comes out November 18th.
