Bandai Namco will distribute Project Cars

Project Cars, a graphical and AI masterpiece, will be distributed by Bandai Namco when it launches in November for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U. Slightly Mad Studios is the games developer, and they have magically funded this game with the community without a traditional publisher.

Their “Sandbox” approach is what is intended to set Project Cars apart from franchises such as Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport. You will have access to all included tracks and vehicles with a good variety of motorsports paths. Dynamics is the name of the game, with multi-day indurance races and dynamically changing weather and lighting conditions. The physics engine is an improved version of Madness, which was the basis of NFS: Shift. Don’t let this scare you, they have dramatically tweaked and improved this impressive machine. They have put time and research in the project, with imput from real racers and the Stig (!)

The screenshots and videos from this project have a lot of people really excited. Check out the following and make your own decisions.
