Has the Shield not sold enough units at this point? Or are Nvidia making plans for a Shield 2? We don’t know yet but what we do know is that people who were holding off on a price drop will be excited to see it can now be obtained for $199. Amazon is showing it at $199 as of this afternoon. Shield originally was set for a $349 price tag but at launch was $249. So now with $199 Nvidia fans with a capable desktop can get this fantastic toy in hand. Also on April 2nd, Shield will receive a software update for Androids  Kitkat and improved Gamestreaming. This should also streamline the experience and compatability with apps.
